When the best hope for recovery lies with a cancer center far from home, the American Cancer Society Hope Lodge in Marshfield provides a comfortable, nurturing environment – a “home away from home” – where patients and families can stay during treatments, free of charge. Hope Lodge is conveniently located, a short walk from nationally accredited Marshfield Clinic and Hospital providing support to patients and caregivers when they need it most.
The American Cancer Society Hope Lodge Marshfield provides lodging free of charge, in an environment that provides support from other patients, caregivers, and staff at Hope Lodge – a community that helps ease the burden of a cancer diagnosis.
Since the American Cancer Society Hope Lodge Marshfield opened in 2003, we have served over 27,000 guests and provided over 70,000 overnight stays, saving our patients and their families and estimated $11.6 million. All funds raised at the 9th annual Vita Bella Gala will directly support the American Cancer Society Hope Lodge Marshfield.
For more than a 100 years, The American Cancer Society has been leading the fight to end cancer. With your support, we have helped usher in an era where more people survive cancer than ever before. By translating our research findings into action, we've seen a 20% decline in US cancer death rates since the early 1990s.
